This position will require outstanding leadership in all areas of product management including market assessment, brand strategy, competitive planning, branding, market segmentation, product positioning, promotion, market access, reimbursement, issues management, brand planning, resource requirements, & field execution. This role will lead marketing strategies for oncology as a brand, above the tumor specific plans.  This role will also oversee all aspects of planning and engagement for the IDS/IDN key account business in oncology, and for pan tumor brand strategies for certain customer targets (e.g. nurses, etc. ) that treat and manage multiple different types of cancer patients.  This role will manage the Oncology Pan-Tumor team including three Assoc. Directors; AD Key Accounts, AD HCP Strategy, AD Science Lead.  



Key responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:

  • For oncology lead all key account segmentation, pan-tumor HCP targeting, pan-tumor KOL mapping and planning and pan-tumor execution planning work for the oncology franchise
  • Engage the organization to identify unmet needs and to support oncology and the evolution of Nurse Educators and Cross-functional Customer Facing Teams
  • Oversight and leadership specific to across tumor strategy for oncology with both organized and traditional customers including creation and stewardship of critical oncology promotional platforms; e.g. HCP Brand.com, eResources, Print and Digital Media
  • Lead all launch planning, tactical planning and field execution work for new tumor launches in coordination with tumor leads
  • Lead oncology Long range strategic and operations planning, budget planning, and profit planning efforts
  • Lead manufacturing supply and operations planning for US market for oncology
  • Lead all competitive planning across tumors
  • Lead long-range planning for evolution of the oncology program in coordination with Global Marketing
  • Maintain brand stewardship and consistency across oncology execution and identify innovative approaches and channels to further connect new customers

Qualifications

Education Minimum Requirement: 
  • Required:  BA/BS / Preferred: MBA
Required Experience and Skills: 
  • Minimum of (6) years Pharmaceutical business experience
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in Marketplace Assessment, Development of Disease State and Product Strategy, Product Positioning, and Brand Marketing
  • Strong leadership, problem solving, teamwork, analytical, written/verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills,  influencing without authority and working successfully with cross-functional teams

  • Requires approximately 15-20 % travel, including some weekends.
