Installation and servicing of process piping and plumbing systems including pipe of various materials, valves, fittings, gauges, tubing, sight glasses, and other inline devices. Performs piping system lay out, preparation of pipe and fittings for welding, fabrication, and installation of piping systems from blue prints and sketches.

Qualifications

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • High School Diploma. 

Required Experience and Skills:
  • Four years field experience as part of qualified apprenticeship program, or minimum four years’ hands-on experience working in a mechanical field including pipefitting or plumbing is required. 

Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Completion of a nationally qualified apprenticeship program, or college/post high school technical school degree in a mechanical filed including pipefitting or plumbing is strongly preferred.
