This position will lead a team of Territory Managers working with a diverse customer base that includes large cattle feeding, dairy, and cow/calf operations as well as veterinary practices.  They will manage all aspects of the regional business that includes sales, expenses, distribution, and influencers/thought leaders to drive business results. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for coaching and developing the team to achieve annual sales targets while partnering with the technical service team to deliver great customer service and support.

The Regional Cattle Sales Manager will be responsible for the following region: Southwest, Northwest and Central Kansas, Western and Eastern Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming. Successful candidate must live within the boundaries of this region (or relocate within the region).


Education Minimum Requirement: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree (Animal Science, Ag Business, Marketing, or Business degrees preferred)

Required Experience and Skills**:

• Must have a minimum of 7 years relevant industry experience with at least 5 years sales experience.

• Must have a solid understanding of the cattle industry

• Will be expected to offer a high level of proficiency and demonstrate success regarding:

• Technical, Product & Market Knowledge

• Territory & Business Management

• Selling Skills

• Leadership and team building

• Position requires strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Successful candidate must live within the boundaries of the region (or relocate within the region)

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Prior experience selling animal health or feed products to large beef (feedlot) and dairy customers

• Prior experience managing and developing a sales team

• Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required
