Our co-op program features rotations that last 3 – 9 months and will include one or more projects. These assignments can provide you with great development opportunities and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals. Example assignment areas include:

  

In-line product support in technical operations, manufacturing operations, quality operations.

  • Maintain products at a high level of performance and regulatory compliance
  • Execute strategic projects to enhance our World Class Supply posture – decrease inventory, shorten cycle times, lower costs
  • Analyze and solve technical problems
  • Maintain manufacturing processes at high levels of performance
  • Engineer plant site improvements to enhance safety, quality and the environment
  • Optimize existing processes to achieve improvements in process quality, yield and efficiency

This is a full- time internship position. Housing subsidy is not available as part of this program and must be funded 100% by the student.

Qualifications

Education:
  • Required: Candidates must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate curriculum, working toward a bachelor’s or Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Biochemical Engineering, Biological Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or the Life Sciences (such as Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, etc.).
Required Experience and Skills:
  • Candidates must be available to work full-time for up a minimum of 3 months.
  • Candidates must have superior technical competency as demonstrated by excellent academic record and work achievement
  • Candidates must have strong communication skills, personal character, and ethics
 
Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Candidates should have a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
  • Candidates should have experience applying science and engineering skills to problem-solving
  • Candidates should have experience working in a laboratory environment
  • Candidates should have experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Candidates should be able to demonstrate to develop and execute an experimental program
  • Candidates should have familiarity with concepts and application of cGMP during pharmaceutical development and production
