The Maintenance/Project Planner is the area knowledgeable resource in maintenance and asset management as well as consulted by Reliability and Project Engineers.  This role is responsible for: maintaining various equipment data; Preventative Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM) and Calibration plans; processes change control for equipment and work order documentation; coordinates planning operations within the Reliability Engineering team; collaborates with various site maintenance schedulers to get planned work executed; maintains equipment histories; analyzes equipment & maintenance performance along with Reliability Engineers, and  maintains various maintenance and project metrics .  The Maintenance Planner will use computerized systems such as SAP for data entry and report generation.  

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Ensures CMMS Maintenance master data is built for new equipment.
  • Supports identification, specification, procurement, and stocking of spare parts.
  • Maintains the accuracy of SAP maintenance master data:  Functional Locations, Equipment, Maintenance Plans, Task Lists, Materials, and BOMs.  Processes change control requests for maintenance master data changes.
  • Performs detailed maintenance planning and provides maintenance job plans, to include work instructions, parts, resources, and permitting.
  • Coordinates work plans with operations and scheduling.
  • Coordinates vendor service activity and outside support resources.
  • Manages the work area’s maintenance work planning backlog.

Qualifications

Education:
  • High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of ten (10) years of maintenance experience 
  • Associates Degree in STEM with a minimum of six (6) years of maintenance experience
  • Bachelors Degree or higher in STEM and a minimum of two (2) years of maintenance experience
Required:
  • Experience working with or responsible for planning maintenance or project work in a larger organization
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in an Industrial setting.
Preferred:
  • Maintenance Planning Certification.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Electrical, Mechanical and Utility Systems. 
  • Experience working in a regulated environment preferably in the pharmaceutical, food, or any other regulated industry.   
  • Experience with SAP preferred as CMMS but others like Maximo or Oracle acceptable.
