This position is in our organization’s Device Development group in our research division.  Our organization’s Device Development group is responsible for the development of devices and combination products from conception through product launch.  Products include injectors, inhalers, implants, infusion pumps, vaginal rings and connected devices/apps. The group also plays a key role in supporting launched products.  Key skills and responsibilities for this position include:

  • Engineering technical leadership/ subject matter expert on Device Development programs
  • Project management
  • Materials selection
  • Knowledge of injection molding
  • Commercial support
  • Regulatory strategy and execution
  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills
  • Post launch support and troubleshooting


Education Minimum Requirement: 


BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field with 14+ years of experience OR MS Degree with 10+ years of experience OR a Ph.D Degree with 8+ plus years of experience.

Required Experience and Skills: 


  • Medical device and/or combination product development.
  • Project management
  • Engineering analysis
  • Materials science
  • Risk management  (e.g. FMEAs, human factors studies etc.)
  • Manufacturing (e.g. DFM, injection molding, 3DP, automated assembly)
  • Regulatory submissions
  • Preferred Experience and Skills: 
  • PhD in Engineering with 12+years of experience in medical device and combination product development
