  • Provide statistical and bioinformatics support for biomarker and vaccine assay development projects and Real-World Data analysis in Early Development Statistics Biometrics Research.
  • Ensure that sound scientific principles and statistical methods are applied to designing and analyzing non-clinical and clinical studies in support of drug R&D and worldwide regulatory submissions.
  • Develop protocols and data analysis plans and determine appropriate statistical methodology for data analysis.
  • Perform statistical analyses; prepare relevant tables, listings and figures.
  • Collaborate with the statistical programming staff, as needed, to ensure that all programs meet analysis requirements, internal standard operating procedures, and external regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as statistical representative in cross-functional teams for the strategic planning and execution for product discovery and development.
  • Prepare oral and written reports of non-clinical and clinical studies to project team, management, regulatory agencies, or individual investigators.
  • Provide responses to queries relating to study design, analysis and interpretation posed by scientists, clinical monitors, regulatory agencies and/or other investigators.
  • Participate in research activities for innovative statistical methods and applications in clinical trials for drug development.

  • Ph.D. in Statistics or Biostatistics or Ph.D. in Public Health with a concentration in Biostatistics.
  • Must possess strong knowledge in applied statistical learning methods, epidemiology, survival analysis, linear models, Bayesian data analysis, statistical genetics, statistical and numerical computing, and must possess the capability of handling and analyzing high-dimensional data.
  • Must be proficient in statistical software packages such as: SAS (SAS/Base, SAS/STAT, SAS/Macro) and R; computing and programming languages such as: C, python, shell script, and Latex; and operating systems such as: Unix/Linux, and Windows.
  • Publications in peer reviewed statistical/medical journals are desirable. 
  • 40 hours per week. 09:00am to 5:00pm.
  • Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
