Kenilworth, New Jersey

The 100-acre Kenilworth site embedded amidst New Jersey's"Biopharmaceutical Life Sciences Cluster" is our leading biologics research and development hub. Kenilworth's research and development activities also include core chemistry and preclinical development (PCD) capabilities critical for advancing our discovery portfolio. 

The site here offers two cafeterias and a credit union. Employees can take advantage of free shuttles to the Kenilworth campus from Newark Penn Station, Rahway Train Station, and Roselle Park Station. Shuttle transportation between our sites is also available. For those who drive to work, our Kenilworth location is located directly off the Garden State Parkway. 

The proximity to New York City, nearby parks, open spaces, high-quality public schools as well as accessibility to the 1-95 corridor makes this an excellent place to live.

South San Francisco, California

We have expanded our California discovery research footprint with a new cutting-edge research facility in the heart of South San Francisco’s biopharmaceutical community. 

The new site is more than just a shiny building – it’s a research center set up to foster collaborations across functions, businesses, and even industries. Biologists are working alongside chemists; scientists are working alongside business development colleagues, and our company will work with outside collaborators from academia and industry.

More than 300 scientists follow the science every day in this new, nine-story, multi-disciplinary discovery research site focused on immunology, oncology, biologics, and other types of biopharmaceutical research. Our Bay Area research labs are integral to our world-class network of medicines and vaccine discovery and committed to turning breakthrough science into meaningful therapeutic options for patients.

Cambridge, Massachusetts

Our Cambridge Exploratory Science Center focuses on the earliest stages of discovery research. The labs, located in the biotech and academic hotbed of Kendall Square, explore the most promising areas of emerging science and technology. Our Exploratory Science Center’s mission is to uncover new opportunities for drug discovery research.

Our Cambridge site is shared with our East Coast Business Development team to support the lab’s focus on early biology and technology collaborations with local academic and biotech groups.

MRL Locations - San Fran

Boston, Massachusetts

Our multi-disciplinary research facility, which opened in 2004, is located in the heart of the Boston/Cambridge Life Science Cluster. Our campus frequently engages the robust academic science community across the street from the labs. These interactions have included major scientific collaborations, hosting educational public seminars, exclusive research symposia, and recruiting events.

The 450-employee research center focuses on discovery research in these key areas: immunology, oncology, diabetes, and neuroscience. The site is comprised of laboratories and staff that support core translational medicine, discovery, preclinical, and clinical functional areas.

Rahway, New Jersey

Our Rahway campus opened in 1903 and, since then, it has been home to many modern medical breakthroughs. As our world headquarters, our 210-acre Rahway site has transitioned from an engineering, production, and industrial complex to a research-focused campus that includes core chemistry and preclinical development capabilities. 

Employees have access to an on-site cafeteria, credit union, and child care facility as well as a fully-equipped gym that features group exercise classes and health education programs. 

Employees can take advantage of free shuttles to the Rahway campus from Newark Penn Station and the Rahway Train Station. Shuttle transportation between our sites is also available.

Upper Gwynedd, Pennsylvania

Located about an hour away from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, our Upper Gwynedd campus is a 90-acre site housing the divisional headquarters for our USA Human Health and our Research Laboratories. 

Our Upper Gwynedd campus received two Governor's Awards; one for its recycling efforts and one through conservation of green space by reusing an established industrial site. The site’s array of solar panels provides enough power to reduce the complex’s energy consumption by 14 percent. 

Employees have access to the Upper Gwynedd Child Learning Center, a credit union, a fitness center, cafeteria, and coffee shop.
